what are these files and do I need them

After cleaning up my HD I came across these two files in Windows/Downloaded
Program Files
(41F17733-B041-4099-A042-B418BB5A408C) Status Unknown, Total Size None, etc.
etc
(72474759-etc. etc. with same details

What are they, can I delete them?
Also under Downloaded Installations I have a sub folder with a similar name:
(1CoA1312 etc. etc
Inside is HMTTCDWIZARD.MSI 1820KB, Windows Installer P... Date Modified

Sounds like left over windows update instlation files. What operating
system are you running.
