western digital hard drive problem

Hi,


I think my drive suffured

a voltage surge, its the secondary drive, it fails to even run or show
on the bios during boot up, do they have a fuse in them?

"It's DEAD Jim! or think of the Parrot Sketch. Try a different molex
plug, if no change you have a door stop, unless under warranty.If it was a
power surge your primary is on the same supply.... If you think your PSU
does this, it needs replacing as it is out of spec.
It is far more likely that your HD is deceased!

D-E-A-D, DEED!
 
a voltage surge, its the secondary drive, it fails to even run or
check shotki diodes on +12V and +5V and replace them if needed.
