How do I delete Wer files in windows temp directory? I keep getting
the error message: "Can not delete appcompat.txt" I have so many that
it is taking up almost 4 gb on my C: drive.

Boot into safe mode and delete them.
 
Can you please tell me what OS you are encountering this problem on, can you
also tell me if you see instances of dwwin.exe running on the machine?
