I've looked around a bit on here, but didn't see anyone with my issue, please
forgive if this has already been talked about and I just missed it.
My problem is: If I'm inactive for a few minutes on my laptop the
"welcome/switch users" screen pops up and I have to re-enter my password to
log back on. All my programs continue to run, but it is very annoying. This
issue started yeserterday 11-20-06. I have one other profile on my laptop,
but it is for business only and hasn't been used since last week, so I can't
say if the issue also happens from that profile.
I have checked all my power settings & user account settings and all appears
normal. My power settings have the computer NEVER shutting down or turning
off, even if using the battery. The only way my computer can shut-down is if
I tell it to by pressing the power button or through the start menu. Beyond
checking the power settings and the user accounts I wasn't sure what to do.
As far as I know, no other settings have been changed to cause this. Any
advice? Thanks!
