Is there a way that I can change that notification that tells you how many
e-mails you have, to read off of outlook? Right now, the number of unread
e-mails is from outlook express, and I use outlook for my e-mail.

Please reply, this is driving me insane.

A quick search on Microsoft's site, with google/google groups or within this
newsgroup would have saved your sanity much faster than actually posting. =)

Get TweakUI, Install It, Run It.. Tweak your system. That setting (and many
more) can be controlled easily with it.
