If using XP Pro, press Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the classic style logon
prompt. Enter username/password. When in Windows, undo whatever was done to
hide user names on the Welcome screen (TweakUI perhaps?).
If using XP Home, try booting to Safe Mode and logging on to the default
Administrator account.
