A Ayush Nov 27, 2006 #2 Do this : Start - Run sysdm.cpl ,3 3rd Settings button Uncheck "Automatically Restart" Next time this happens, you should see a blue screen. Note the text on it and post that here or gOOgLe

Could be a faulty DVD drive or a marginal power supply, either of which causing the supply voltage to dip, thus fording a reboot. Ask your computer repair shop to have a look at it.
