Hello~
I have a network printer here at work that is color, HP 4650dn. I have not
had a problem with anyone printing to it until last week. On the network
there is a database program that I created with charts and of course the user
wants this printed in color. I added the network shared printer without any
issues, and the test page looked great. I should also note that we have a
quick set setup so it only prints from Tray 2 where the white stock paper is.
When they went to print the report however it printed in black and white and
on the gray stock paper in Tray 2. If you go into Printers on the control
panel you can still see that the default is Tray 1, however when you print
this report in Access and go into printer properties - the default of Tray 2
is not set and neither is the quick set. Also the report is landscape but
will only print in portrait. I thought it was the printer/driver combination
but after messing with that for awhile I know it has to be something to do
with Access. It prints from Outlook and word just fine. I can print the
report just fine in color, but two computers won't. Any ideas??????? Would
re-installing office help? We would greatly appreciate any ideas at all.
Thank you so much.
