weird change to user accounts....

I had a problem w/my modem yesturday, & when I finally got back online, I
have a user calledASP.NET Machine A... I have no idea how it got there.
Also, my other user, when he clicks on his icon to go to desktop, it just
kind of "flashes' & doesn't let him in.....

I need help. my computer is possessed

This is a normal account created by the install of the net software, leave it
alone.

It's from installing the .NET framework. This account is normal and
expected.

If you see this on the welcome screen, that would be somewhat unexpected,
but you can re-hide it easily with TweakUI.

Maybe, maybe not. It's more likely that that user profile is corrupt.
Create a new user account and migrate the files and settings to it.
