Is there a way to use autofill to create a worksheet showing only the five
work days of each week in a month? This would be used to enter daily stock
market data. Please advise.

Red,

Make a Custom List. Tools, Options, Custom lists. Enter the five days in
the way you'll use them (Mon, Tue..., or Monday, Tuesday...) If you use
Mon, Tue... , it will override the built-in custom list -- the one with all
seven days of the week. Now use the fill handle in the usual way.

1. Type the first date in a cell
2. Select that cell, and point to its fill handle
(the small black square at the lower right)
3. When the pointer changes to a black cross, press the
RIGHT mouse button, and drag down about 20 rows
4. Release the mouse button
5. From the shortcut menu, choose Fill Weekdays

Red,

Create a custom list for Mon , Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, enter those values into 5
cells, than drag and fill.
