I have my own website, but are having problems with the
thumbnail Map, when I click on it, it goes to top of
this page, when I want it to go to a larger Map picture,
on a separate page altogether, the html is: <A
href="#map2.jpg" target=_blank> but this link does not
work, can anyone help me or direct me to a website that
gives some help? It used to work, when I set up this
website.

Create the target where the link for that image is in it. Find the source
for your image, and copy and paste it in the tag reference after the
href="www.your websource for the image #map2.jpg".

For example, this is a link to an image for an advertisement on MSN.com
http://hp.msn.com/27/!Q69ECAEYM26_~BLOZCUXT.jpg

Tom,
Thanks for your quick reply, I have tried your
suggestion, if I've understood you correctly? I have
added my "www.website before the #map2.jpg"... image, is
this correct? As I cannot get the link to go anywhere
now, it does not work! H.

Do you have the image saved to a server or a site where you have those
images stored? If so, that would be the link you add after the <a href="your
website's image name and extension">

Tom,
Thanks, I have the image saved on the same site as the
rest of my images and pages for my website, on my C drive
as MyWEBsite1/map2.jpg etc, as the thumbnail is also. Is
this perhaps the wrong place for it?

Tom, Again, added:
When I put my mouse over the thumbnail map, the link
shows up as
'Shortcut to file:///C/MyWEBsite1/accom2.html#map2.jpg
when I have not entered the html
words 'MyWEBsite1/accom2.html' at all! Only #map2.jpg
I cannot seem to get rid of 'accom2.html' as this
definitely indicates the reason I get the link to top of
this page, 'accom2.html' is the page this map link is
on, instead of the map2 link. Can you give me any way I
can alter this? 1'v uploaded it and now shows 'shortcut
to: accom2.html#map2.jpg. I have altered the website
address to leave accom2.html out and the link then goes
to the map2 ok. Would it help, if I put this map2 into
another folder inside this one?
