Can MS Office apps "Save As", "Save" and "Open" documents on web folders?

I think you really should provide more detail about your problem. Look at some

I just posted another question about the behavior of Windows Explorer when
opening a webdav folder. I have the impression that the behavior changed and
now is incompatible with the webdav standard. Do you have the same issue?

Now here is someone who knows what he is talking about. I have mounted FTP shares in other systems and only just discovered that XP seems to have a free client for this technology so I am looking into it. I don't want to use an MS server though.
