Webcam troubles

I have installed a webcam Philips toUcam Camera but the quality of images is very bad (very foggy and unsharp). I tried changing the settings but it doesn't work. Please, could somebody help me to get clear images?

Do they show clear if you use it on another machine? Maybe it's just crappy
hardware.
