Webcam problems in 6.0

When I use the video tuning wizard, I have no problem
seeing the video(I'm using a Sony Digital Video camera).
But when I try to connect and launch a webcam
conversation, all I see is a black box where the video
should be. I'm using XP and with no firewall.

Any ideas?

Check Microsoft for updated drivers I had this same
problem and this fixed it.

I am having similar problems. When i use Video & voice
conversation..somethimes it links up & i can see others
video & hear sound but they can't see or hear me. It then
cuts off after a few seconds, yet netmeeting works
perfectly. I am getting annoyed as this is the reason I up
graded to XP Pro. Any help would be appreciated from any
source
