Web Site's Background

Ever since I have had my computer I have not been able to see background colors of other Web Sites. I have a Web Site of my own that has a background but cannot view it from my computer. Someone told me to set my browser. I am new at computers and don't know about that. Can someone please help!
 
Check your settings here: IE/Tools/Internet Options/Accessibility and
Advanced/Show Pictures. Also, post the link to your website here. Will
check it for you.
