I always book my travel on line with a local company. There has been no
problem until about 6 months ago, when I went to the web page in order to
book, but the company page came up with a fault on the the company web site
and therefore I could not book the travel. However, this fault comes up
every time I go on the site now. When I contact the company I am told that
the site is up and running, and there are no problems. I can then go to my
daughters laptop, located in the same house, connected to my PC via wireless,
and I can access the site, and book the travel.
There is obviously something going on in my PC, but I do not have a clue
what it is. Can anyone assist me with this please?
I have deleted the cookies and the temporary internet files etc, but problem
still there.
Cheers,
Mark.

What kind of "fault" does it show to be? If you can state the OS and other
vital info that might be helpful.

I can think of two problems.

1) Do you use the same web browser on your and your daughter's computer? I
have long been going to this MS discussion forum and was always able to
browse with my Fireofx. Now that the web page for this forum has been
re-formatted it wil only open fully in EI. (PS Microsoft thinks it is NOT
their problem).

2) Do you run some kind of anti spy ware on your PC and not on your
daughter's. Web sites that contain tracking and spy ware can be blocked (for
your safety).

What browser? If either IE6 or IE7 post to the internet explorer newsgroup.
Below are links to that newsgroup and when you post there provide more
information about what version of IE, what exactly happens when you try to
access that site, exact error message, etc, and what the site name is. If
it's other than IE, post to a forum for that browser.
