Is it possible to open a Microsoft Access database from a
web site, like you can Word or Excel?

Are there any work arounds besides an ASP?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Nope. Access forms/reports etc can only be opened by the Access
application.

You can get sort of close with Data Access Pages, but they require the user
to have the correct version of Office Web Components on their machine.

Alternatively, take a look at the tools from www.xlinesoft.com. I am not
affiliated with them, and would love to hear how well they work...

Try MS FrontPage which has a db wizard which works quite well with Access
db's on the web

You will need a web site host running IIS though. (Windows Server)
