Web Background Problems

All of a sudden, I have no color in any web page
backgrounds. No matter which web site I go to, the
background is always white. This was not a problem until
earlier today. I have run a virus scan, checked my display
settings, the drivers are correct and up-to-date. In
addition, when I go to web sites, pictures that were clear
as a bell now seem out of focus as if the resolution, or
the dpi settings are wrong. These appear to be okay. My
resolution is 800 x 600, medium color (16 bit) and the dpi
setting is at 96. Help!!

Hi

Change the settings from 16-bit to 32-bit. This is the reason for the poor image quality. You can do this where you set the resolution of your computer. On the left u see the scrollbar for setting the resolution and on the right you see the drop down box which says 16-bit. If there is no 32-bit then it means that your adapter is not installed properly and you have to remove the AGP card, refix it on the motherboard properly, reinstall the drivers for the AGP card. Make sure that you have the updated drivers for the operating system. Drivers for windows 2000 are completely different for the drivers for Windows XP
