Web Access Outlook makes my email vanish - help

When I use my Outlook Web Access, as of the last 2 weeks when I close
a message window, the message gets deleted. Gone. Not even in the
deleted mail folder. Why is this happening and what do I do to stop
it? It didn't used to do this...why did it start now?

Update: I've found that if I search for the missing items, they show
up in the search list, but I can only access them for there, not from
my inbox even though the search shows that they are in the inbox!
Also, this does not happen with my desktop version, except that the
messages already missing from web access are also now missing in the
desktop, it just depends where I check the mail from first.
I've changed none of my settings, and I certainly haven't checked a
box that says "Make email apparently vanish from inbox upon closing
window in web access outlook".
 
Hi - OWA is part of Exchange, not Outlook. Microsoft.public.exchange.clients
might be a better place to post....but first, check your view settings in
OWA.

Might want to talk to your Exchange admin as well.
