My WeatherBug disappeared (probably cleaned out by a new anti malware
app)
It is definitely an adware service but it also has local weather
conditions.
Does anyone know of something similar or better?

TIA

I can never understand why anyone would install weather-related software on
their PC. It's gonna need an internet connection to get the forecast, so
why not just bookmark a site like this...

http://www.erh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClick.php?CityName=Fort+Fairfield&state=ME&site=CAR

.... and place a shortcut to it on your desktop?

If you are on dial-up, you have an argument. If not, then dload
weather pulse and get back to me later.

I've tried many weather-related programs in the past, but I always ended up
uninstalling them.

Whether Dial-up or Broadband... *to me* it just makes sense to keep as
little as possible running to conserve system resources and connect to the
website when I want to know what the current weather conditions are (when am
too lazy to turn around and look out the window).

That's just my 2-cents.

To each his own! :-)

You are right Ken. Also, one more click gives the 'new' Java interface.
On the left, turn mouseoveron, snap onto your hometown and you can
estimate when the July snowstorm will hit near the crown of Maine.

Ah... Maine... where the four seasons are "Almost Winter", "Winter", "Still
Winter" and "Black Fly Season".
