How about this for a response:

Respected madam,

It would perhaps be better if you did your own project work, rather than
getting other people to do it for you. Also, I'm afraid that my diary is
completely booked to the 4th August. Or something.

It's probably an evil hybrid undergrad department resulting from
combining Mathematics and Computer Science into a single
administrative unit. Sometimes there's a Mathematics dept. proper
and the CS dept. is called MCS; I can only speculate that this is due
to insecurity about what they do among the CS faculty.

Or it could be a Mandatory Claim Submission, in which case you are
