There are many pending validation today and results are somehow slow, if all the pending ones are validated there will be a good score tomorrow, I notice this is not just the case with me but almost half of the team got low scores.

My PC's still don't seem to be churning out many results, so if its not back to normal by the weekend I'll have a trawl through the stats and see what could be wrong. Looks like its affecting a few of us?

One day i seem to return 1500+ and the next few days 800 all for the same work & crunching time. A few times i have even returned nil points for 12 hours crunching?

But crunching is what matters & moving up the stats is 4 fun, hungry to get another star, what colour does it change to at 50k

Congratulations! you spotted the deliberate mistake.

Ian, You points do seem to have dropped off a little in the last week. But there are some large WU's out there at the mo. Maybe thats something to do with it.....?

You probably know this but i say it anyway...
I been using process explorer (Mucks posted it somewhere) to keep an eye on things, You can get a graph like in task manager for each process, Maybe worth using to see if anythings being gready with the CPU?


Feckit, That BOINC for ya, You dont get the points as soon as you finished a WU. Only when they have been validated. (Validation is done using four different results from 4 different pc's, not just your own)

8.1 on the Rickter scale off the coast of Tonga, the Tsunami was due to hit our coast at 6.20 am
Apparently our govt warning system is so with-it that civil defence found out about it from all the people phoneing up to find out what to do
All the Mayors & the military (who found out about it similarly) are furious & apparently there's going to be an investigation

It's just as well we don't get a lot of natural disasters around here...

But it's reassuring to know how well prepared we are... just in case
