Gonna be moving office soon, so I'm going to see if I can get any redundant PC's to crunch with - PLUS might be able to sabotage newer bigger better servers to 'optimise' CPU usage on - hehehe

Yeah i've been tryin to sort it....Let me explain.

You see the stats generator produces a very long link to the signature. so the site has a short url option (Like tiny url) Problem is, it dont work. :(

Try it for yourself, just put in your name, team name and tick the WCG option. Click on 'generate link' then 'generate a short url' then you will see what its doing, it changes the link, but it just add some extra characters to the url and buggers up the team points and name.

So to get round this i use tinyurl.com. I have to use a tiny url for Kev and Peahouse, because they joined after i originally made them up. (Before the short url buggered up, and the change of hosting etc) But for some reason the tiny url stops working after so many weeks....

Also try deleting 'AbsoluteKevster' and putting in your name or anyother member of the team, but dont change ANYTHING else, Then click on 'generate link' what happens?

It's the background variable, has spaces in it, and such messes the entire thing up, try it without a background and it works.

Hey, no ruckus caused. :)

I'm just sorry i couldn't sort it, it bugs me when i cant fix something. :mad:
Unfortunately it seems the banners and the site that generates them isn't as reliable as it used to be......:(

As Mucks said, I think a sig from DCStat is the best option for now too. :thumb:

Anyway, lets move on. The stats for today (Friday 13th) are HERE
