It should be in the StarUp folder ... when it goes wrong here on the MJW, I just restart the PC. I hate that Boinc program, I'm getting fed-up re-installing it in Linux. :(

Sorry itsme, I am not missing you off deliberately, honest, but my records show you only returned 967 points at the time I took the stats.

Let me just reiterate once again ... the Boinc starts are a pain in the, you know where, they are not stable.

So, if it seems I made a mistake in the returns, forgive me, it will all iron out eventually.

There is only two places where I can gather the stats from ... WCG & StatsFree-DC ... the latter is not very accurate and there are only 24 teams listed out of thousands. It 'screws up' quite often.

I will admit to "calculating" as best I could based on what I saw reported. On top of that, there are actually two sets of points ... one for UD & one for Boinc ... if they are not added at the same time, which happens a lot, then what you see is not always what I can report.

Points are a bit of fun, so try not to get to carried away with them ... but don't give up because you aren't scoring, just do your best.

:)

:(

Sorry to hear that mucks:( it is not as good WCG well I dont see any advantage in the amount of points it generates:confused:

Not taken any today ... having a fit instead ... just for a change.

Been trying to get the "old girl" back up and running ... having one of those "huh! now what?" days. I must have about 8 devices in my profile by now. :(

Finding BOINC a bit confusing here too, going to give it 2 more days before I decide though.

You have hit the nail on the head there Ian;)

Well, it is upto the individual ... it does benefit from having a x2 core CPU, and I have seen the MJW pc move to scoring 1,000 points a day, whereas it was around 900 mark ... it also depends on what you are doing on your PC at the time to ... I do nothing on MJW and it is on 24/7, so that helps. ;)

Naw, if you ain't happy then go back to the UD program ... be sure you follow the destructions for un-installing Boinc before reinstalling UD.

:thumb:

So far i've had no probs with BOINC myself. Infact i quite like it, i think i've seen an increase in productivity so i'm happy. :)

Whats the prob Ian? I found it does take a bit of time to settle down.
