What are different ways to identify a computer? by computer name? ip
address?

For example, when I create different id to logon a service, it can identify
me as the
same user even I use different id.

any ideas? any ways that dont allow the computer is not identified?

please advise. thanks!!

You can also identify a computer by the MAC Address on the network card.
Both identifying by IP address and MAC Address can be "spoofed" so
that others do not see your real addresses. You can also be seen by
computer name, description, etc. What exactly are you trying to do?

He probably wants to either download free and illegal music
or share kiddy porn and in either case doesn't want the FBI
/ RIAA to know who he is.

What's sad is it is probably true. The simple answer to this whole thing
is that the only way to not show your computer exists on the internet is
to never connect it. There are always going to be protocols and
addresses assigned to your computer. They can just follow a flow of
data with the header information that provides the final destination.
Basically, burn whatever the heck it is to CD or DVD and mail it.

Or if your like me, then you just like your privacy.

There ways to keep your privacy from all but the law if you
bring yourself to their attention.
Google for "anonymizer"
