In the status line where the number of messages are shown, is there a
way for it to also display the size of the msgs in total? Sometimes
some folders have a large size but it would be nice to know at a
glance and quickly and efficiently, what that size might be.

I'm using O2K with the corporate and not the imo option.

Thank you.

No, not in the statusbar but you can add the size column to your message
view. Also you can check the folder size by rightclicking the folder->
Properties-> button Folder Size...

No, not using the status bar. Right click on the folder and choose
properties - there is a folder size button that will bring up the
information.

Yes, but that's the one that gives the sizes of individual messages,
right? That doesn't give me a grand total. That's what I'm trying to
get here as some of my folders are large and I need to know at a
glance how big each folder is.

Yes, a workaround. <sigh> Is there nothing that just shows me, as I
distinctly mentioned in my original msg below, the size of the msgs in
total?

The ideal would be at the bottom where it says the total # of msgs a
folder has, also the total size.

Thanks.

Is there a way, at least, to get this on the toolbar. That would be a
little easier.

Thanks.

No, there is not such an option... yet.

You can suggest it by filling in this form so they can consider it a next
version (note that they don't promise it)

You gave me a good idea about showing in the statusbar how much space is
left as well for a pst-file or Exchange mailbox. This could certainly reduce
the total of issues people locking up their pst-file (although the limit is
practically gone for Outlook 2003 pst-files) or noticing too late that their
mailbox is running out of space.

If it's not listed in tools, customize, commands then no, there is no easy
way to put it on the toolbar. You may be able to access it using VBA.

Great idea, believe I will!

True, re the promise, but it's worth a try, eh?

Oh, great. Well, that's out. I wouldn't know the first thing how to
do that.

That's a very bad thing not to have. <sigh>
