Watermarks only on selected pages within a document

I would like to insert a text watermark on only a couple of pages within a
multi-page document. Pages preceeding and following those selected pages
should not have the watermark. Thank you in advance.

G'Day Tom,

1. Make sure that you use section breaks to separate
the sets of pages that require differing Watermarks
(including sections with NO watermark).

2. Insert the Watermark you would like for any section
- initially it will be the same throughout the document.

3. Modify the Headers so that each section does NOT
have 'Same as previous'.

4. Move to the second section, double-click its Header
- you will now be able to 'select' the watermark with
a single click.

5. Delete the Watermark OR Right-click, choose 'Edit text'
and modify the Watermark for that section.

6. Repeat for the other sections until you have whatever
Watermark you want (including NO Watermark) in each
section.

See my reply to your previous duplicate question.

Thank you, Pat, I appreciate your response. That would be great, except the
watermark needs to be diagonally across the page, not in a header or footer.
(I should have been more specific). Suzanne replied and suggested using
WordArt which worked perfectly! Thank you again.
Best regards,
Tom Bickta

A watermark is just a graphic anchored to the header or footer, so what Pat
told you was still correct.
