Help, I am converting documents from Word Perfect to Office Basic 2003 Microsoft Office Word 2003, and when I transfer a certain document which has a watermark aligned to the right, it appears on the left of the word document and doesn't seem to be visible in the formatting, I can't move it delete it or anything in Word, any bright ideas????!

Did you go into the Header to see if the watermark is there?

Hi, Ruth. It could be that the watermark is a graphic formatted as "behind
text". If your Drawing toolbar is not currently displayed, click on View |
Toolbars | Drawing. Then click on the big white arrow near the left end of
the Drawing toolbar (it's the Select Objects tool). Then click on the
watermark. Did this select the watermark? If so, then you can drag it to
where you want. When you've finished positioning the watermark, remember to
click on the Select Objects tool again to turn it off, or else you won't be
able to click in the text.

I think you are on to something, it didn't work, but it is greyed out as
though it is on a different level, this is so frustrating

Okay, click on View | Header and Footer, then try selecting the watermark
using the Select Objects tool... are you able to select the watermark?

I think I love you, seriously though, you've sussed it, thank you so much. I
won't be having a break down after all today!

Considering that this was what Bill asked you whether you'd done in the
first place...
