Warning message when no subject is entered

Before sending out an e-mail, is there any way I can get
Outlook to warn me of empty subject lines first and ask
for confirmation?

This has happened several times now, and the recall thing
doesn't always work...

Thanks!

According to RFC 2822, "Internet Message Format", the To, Cc, Reply-To,
Bcc, and Subject headers (which are part of the sender's data, not part
of the SMTP handshaking) are optional. They may appear zero or one
times.

Some e-mail clients and webmail services will prompt you when the
Subject line is empty. Some may even force you to use a non-blank
Subject header (which violates the RFC). Outlook doesn't have an option
to check if the optional Subject header is blank.

I guess this is a matter of personal preference rather than conformance to
regulations.

Hmm... thought with the type of product such as outlook, you would be able
to enable a reminder or something like that. Too bad
