Hi,

I have just purchased a license, and I removed and reinstalled everything.

but still I get the warning when building ...........(????)

Why ??? Anyone ?

Thanks !

Cato

Did you put a serial# to the image? In the Target Designer expand your
xxxx.slx and open the settings!

Put a PID in the field "Run-time Image Licensing". The PID is the
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
number on the XPe stickers!

Greets,
Steve

"The PID is the
xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
number on the XPe stickers!" ??? not too sure about that

aikwee,

What exactly you did not understand in the Stefan's reply?
The XPe stickers you get from your XPE distributors should have 25-alpha numeric characters. You can use one of them in the TD PID
field to produce non-eval image.

KM,
the sticker you guys mention here is a tiny piece of sticker or others ?

Yup, number with dashes which you can read from the ultra small sticker that
you must provide with each device.

Chose number from one of the stickers and enter it in TD like Stefan
explained.

This is true for all stickers made from year 2003+.
If you have some old sticker then you must ask your distributor to provide
you with number or you can buy one new COA sticker.

ok, I got used to the old stickers, i am only using the code provide by my distributor last time (time when numbers on old stickers don't built) . Now I don't even get an eye on the new stickers coz the stickers are paste on the system by my fellow production colleagues....is it fine to carry on using the old pid provided ?

I have no idea, although it should be as long as you provide COA with each
device.

Slobodan

PS: Why don't you ask someone to read you one of new numbers from one of
stickers?
