Want to use Hotmail in Windows Mail

Ok, Just downloaded suggested Beta, now what do I do so that my hotmail can
be used in Windows Mail program?
Please provide step-by-step instructions...not great with these tasks.

Ok, just viewed more posts regarding this issue,
one states only upgraded (paid for vs free) hotmail accounts are able to be
accessed in Windows Mail...is this correct?
I followed previous instructions to download Beta for my Vist 64bit, should
I not have done this?
Please help!

Yes.

What exactly did you download?

If it was Windows Live Mail, http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview then use
that instead of Windows Mail for your Hotmail account.
 
We have no way of knowing which Beta you downloaded.
It should have a name. Please elaborate.
