Hi,
I have a question, I have a DSL @ home, and a spare phone line and a 56K
Modem. now I want to dial in from my office to my home to use the internet
connection. i am able to connect to my computer, but unable to access the
internet. ICS is enable,

My office computer when connects to home computer, doesn't gets an IP
address from my PC @ home. please can someone Help.

Are you under the impression that dialing in to your home DSL account will
be faster? If so, you are mistaken. You will still not connect any faster
than your modem will allow.

To answer your question, your computer at work needs to access a DHCP server
to get an IP address. Your computer at home is not set up to do this. The
fact that you posted your question demonstrates that you do not have an
understanding of networking and how networking "works".

Have a look at nat32
http://www.nat32.com

Jim.
(not a nat32 shill. honest! :)

Why not use a remote desktop connection through the spare phone line?

Then you can use your home computer to access the internet through the DSL
line like if you were sitting at home ?

mr james. have you used nat32?

i tried but still same

Not in the configuration you are attempting. However, their homepage
is quite clear that this is one of it's functions.
