I want to use a logo that is in a header. I can't seem to be able to copy
it. I'm not very proficient in Excel so this maybe a very simple matter but
I've tried everything I know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I
really want to be able to use my logo again!

I would do a Print Preview and take a screen shot (ctrl shift print screen
button above the home key). Paste it into Paint. Do some editing. If you
have a full Adobe with the Adobe printer you might get a better copy.

You could try scanning drives for .gif or .jpg files. It must have existed
somewhere before in order to enter it in the header.

Open your workbook with the logo in the header.

File|SaveAs
Choose "Web page (*.htm; *.html)
as the file type.
(remember the location where you saved this file)

Close that workbook
open windows explorer
go to that folder
look for a workbooknamehere_files folder

You'll be able to see the pictures as files.

Last sentence of your post suggests that you have (or had) the logo as a
graphic which you 'inserted' into a header, but all you inserted was a
_copy_ of it . The file you used is still stored wherever you inserted it
from and can be used repeatedly without having to 'retrieve' it from Excel.
