Want to install Microsoft Word

I have microsoft, but not microsoft Word. I was wondering if anyone could
help me figure out how to install it or get it with out actually having to
buy it. I had to by my computer crashed and Word was never put back on. So
how do i get it back without purchasing it? The dell hotline people dont seem
to have an answer for me. I dont have the disk either, i dont know what
happened to it. Help!
 
You have to buy a disk. Word is not part of the Microsoft Windows program, it is a separate
product.
You can get it as part of the Works Suite, or as part of the Office Suite or a Stand-alone product.

If you can't afford that, look a Open Office. It will read and save documents as Word documents.

You need to locate the disk.
If your computer is a Dell and Word came with the computer, your solution is
from Dell.
Otherwise if you want Word, you may need to buy it.

No disk, and not willing to buy?

Try Open Office:

Contact Dell and order a complete set of recovery disks for your PC. You
can't reinstall Word without them.

Another option would be to download and install OpenOffice. It will work
with Office files and you can save files in Office formats for use on other
pcs.

Neither the Microsoft Office application suite, nor any of its
individual component applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, etc.), have _ever_ been "part" of *any* Windows operating
system. They are, and always have been, separate applications, that
must be purchased and installed separately.

Microsoft Office comes pre-installed on new computers only when the
computer manufacturer chooses to offer it, and the purchaser is willing
to pay extra for it. If you need PowerPoint, you'll have to purchase
and install it.
