I have a ml-4500 laser printer(samsung) and a ms-dos
program that prints directly to LPT1.AT FIRST I COULD
PRINT FROM MY DOCUMENTS,BUT AFTER DOWNLOADING THE ML4500
DRIVERS. THE COMPUTER WANT PRINT AT ALL.AT JUST HARM FOR
A FEW SECOND AFTER YOU SENT THE WORK TO PRINT.NOW IGET
SCRIPT ERROR WORDPAD MFC, ALSO JUST SCRIPT ERROR,ALSO NOW
IT SAYS DISK DEFRAGMENTER NTFS MODULE.ALSO ALL OF MY SAVE
DOCUMENT WHEN I OPEN THEM IS ALL EMTPY. THEY ALL IS NOW
EMPTY. I RAN A VIRUS SCAN BUT CAME UP WITH NOTHING.

Make sure the cables are connected correctly, the printer
is on, and the Data light on the control panel is on.
.. If bi-directional communication is not turned on in the
driver, it will also cause this message.
.. From the Start menu, select Settings, then Printers.
Right-click on the Samsung ML-4500 printer icon and
select Properties. From the Details tab, click on Port
Settings. Remove check from Check Port State before
Printing box and click OK. From Spool Settings, select
Print Directly to Printer and click OK. Try printing
again.
