W32Time - System Clock Unsynchronized

Control Panel - Performance & Maintenance -
Administrative Tools - Computer Management - System Event
Viewer - shows the following frequent warnings: Source:
W32Time - Event: 36. Double clicking on W32Time brings
up the following message: "The time service has not been
able to synchronize the system time for 49,152 seconds
because none of the time providers has been able to
provide a usable time stamp. The system clock is
unsynchronized. Advice on how to resolve this issue
would be appreciated. Thanks!

For an isolated workstation or when time precision is not
an issue, the time service may be safely stopped and there
will be no more warnings/errors. Further information here
