W32.Randex.gen virus

i have a system32 file infected with this virus that
Norton NAV 2002(with live updates) cannot delete or
quarantine even!!
the norton program is asking me to delete this infected
file and replace it.
the infected file on my computer is:
C:\windows\system32\gesfm32.exe.

can anyone help me if i can even replace a single
system32 file and if so how?

I dont believe that gesfm32.exe is a windows file

It could be the files for the virus, try deleting it to
the recycle bin and see what happens or burn it to cd?
Checking norton website I can't find W32Randex.gen their
are similar ones
