Can anyone out there help me with this (whatever it is). I keep getting these emails from people I dont have a clue who they are. My IPU sends me notice that they contain this thing. I have Road Runner as my service. Is there anyway to stop these from coming?
 
I am in the same situation as you. From what I know about this particular
virus, it sends itself to everybody in your address book. So maybe someone
who has you in their address book has this virus and it keeps being sent to
you for this reason.. The senders names are just names the virus makes up. I
can only imagine the trouble it would be causing if I didn't have my
antivirus up-to-date. I had to remove it from 3 friends of mine's computers
because it was crashing their pc frequently.

I have RoadRunner, too, and get these messages with virus attachments
every day. I use the junk mail option in Netscape Mail to classify them
as junk mail. Now they just go automatically into a "junk" folder. You
might have a similar option.

It's a pesky virus - I get about 6 a day! I understand that it sends
itself out from infected computers every time that computer is booted.
Just be thankful that your antivirus is catching it.
