This is a legacy PC dual P3 Asus P2B-DS (built in Adaptec controller)

Drive C (IDE) has W2K and programs
Drive D (SCSI) is Boot drive with orginal NT4 install
Drive E,F,G are other SCSI drives self terminating

If I remove SCSI E, F or G I get the W2K "Could not start" "Could not read from
select book disk"

These SCSI drives are the old 4 & 8 gigers from Seagate circ 1997 ;)

How can I remove the SCSI drives?

Thanks

Are you sure they are self terminating? In my P2B-DS with 2x18 GB's, I have
a terminator on the end of my scsi cable. When you go into adaptec
controller at startup (CTRL+H I believe) can you see all the other drives?

The P2B-DS MB has two SCSI cables, one for LW drives (It's a blue-ish shiney
cable) that has a physical terminator at the end of the cable.
The older SCSI "N" 60pin flat for older HDs and CD-Roms

I have two drives on the blue cable and the other two + a CD-rom on the older
grey cable.

I'll see what the adaptor can recognize at bootup when I disable one of the old
SCSI HD's
