I have a new Vista computer on a network. Our ISP allows a main e-mail
account + sub-accounts. It looks like Vista doesn't allow sub-accounts....I
can read our family e-mail (main acct), but not my private (sub-acct) e-mail.
On windows explorer I was able to switch identities. Thanks in advance....

Windows Mail does not support identities. MVP Steve Cochran has written
a utility (not free but very reasonably priced) that will restore the
identities feature if you want it.

If you don't want to go this route, you can add the other email account,
create a folder for it, and use Message Rules to filter mail for that
account into the new folder.

You mean Outlook Express had identities...

You just need to add another account to Windows Mail for each sub-account.
However, all email will go into the same Inbox, unless you create some rules
to move it into different folders.
