Vuescan gamma with slides

When scanning a slide with Media Type set to "Image," how do you adjust the
gamma of the scan? The Color tab allows you to set the black point and the
white point. Is the Brightness slider to be used for gamma?

Brightness in vuescan is a multiplier to the gamma of the color space
(for some macintosh spaces 1.8, all others 2.2). Could be found in the
manual :-)
