vsmon.exe file can't be deleted????

hello

i was deleting ZA unproperly and now i can't delete vsmon.exe file.what
should i do to delete the file??
 
Hi Jacob,

Use the Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the program. If that's not possible
(as you've deleted the files manually), reinstall ZA and then uninstall via
A/Remove Programs.

FYI, to delete a ZA file, you may need to stop the Zone Alarm service (True
Vector) using Services.msc
 
As you've already deleted the files ZoneAlarm uses, you will not be able to
use Add/Remove Programs to get rid of it. You're left with two options;

1) Reinstall ZoneAlarm, reboot, then uninstall properly.
2) Using the Services snap-in in MMC (go to "Services" under Control Panel |
Administrative Tools) change the startup option for True Vector from
"Automatic" to "Manual". After a reboot, you should be able to delete your
file, however, this won't get rid of the service and is not the best way to
uninstall a program. Option 1 is best.
 
i cant get ridd of my old true vector. it say somthing like this: "the
truevector was not shut of correct. shut of the truevector and reinstall ZA"
how do i get ridd of it so i can reinstall ZA?

Go to Zone Alarm web site. You will find the proper directions to
uninstall Zone Alarm..
