I run a homebased business and I am trying to find out if I have a Static IP
Address and VPN installed, can I connect with clients and update their
computer(software programs), or how would I have to do this?
 
If you don't know if you have static public IP and VPN, I would say you don't in most cases. If you have a router, you should be able to find it out by accessing the router. This how to setup VPN may help,
