I have a problem with a Windows XP Sp2 machine that connects to my network
via VPN. When the user is in the building, everything is working OK (get all
info via DHCP) and they can perform file searches on the network (start,
search, etc). When they are home and connect via VPN and get the same info
from the network, they are unable to perform searches. It comes back saying
no file found. And yet this is the same search they performed while here.

Any ideas what is missing? I don't believe it is a firewall issue.

not sure the issue, but can they ping the remote computer?
