VPN/Remote Desktop Connection w/A Single Click?

Right now, I'm clicking on the Cisco Systems VPN Client, waiting for it to tell
me that all's well, and then clicking on a Remote Desktop icon that's pointed at
a setup file.

Since I do this about ten times per day, I'd like to get it down to a single
click.

Anybody done this? Something with a .BAT file, I guess... but waiting for the
first app to complete? Automagically feeding my PW to the Cisco client?
