To access my work email from my home PC I have to VPN in.
This is quite easy and I do not have problems connecting.
However, when I attempt to open outlook I am prompted for
my user id, password and domain name. I have continously
attempted to enter these and am flashed that the
information is incorrect (which I know is not the case).
I have right clicked on the outlook desktop Icon and
established the mail box under the exchange server and
checked my name so I know I am connecting to the email
server. Could anyone please tell me why when I open
outlook I have these problems with the log on credentials?

Thanks in advance

Jimbo,

I have seen this same problem. It was explained to me
that it is caused when the user is trying to access an
account under one user name when the account (Outlook)
was originally set up for another user name. I have not
yet had a chance to test this theory out. If all else
fails, you might want to try uninstalling Office and re
install it. Hope this helps.

Tried that to no avail but still trouble shooting it.
Also have this issue even if I uninstall Office XP and go
back to office 2K pro? Needless to say, this is a tough
problem
