VPN Error 721

Several of my users remotely vpn into the network here in
the office. I recently have added another user and she
uses a satellite connection. After getting her hooked up
with that, she tried to vpn in and it looks like its going
to connect and then times out with a 721 error. SHe has
the same settings as all the others do, and i am stuck on
resolving this issue. Any advice? Microsoft says to
install serv pack 4, but i didnt have to do that for
anyone else?

Hi,

It could be that GRE (IP Protocol 47) is being blocked on her connection.
Can she make a VPN connection to any other VPN servers?
You could load pptpclnt and pptpsrv on the client and server and test. You
can find these tools located in the
Support\Tools folder on the Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
