Volume control program

I was trying to put the volume icon in the taskbar and when i clicked the box and error message came up saying that i had to instal the volume control program and it told me to go to add remove programs. I went there....no volume control program was even in there. Now i had it before in my task bar and then i restarted my computer and BANG.....lol.....its gone........help

SNDVOL32.EXE should be in c:\windows\system32

Double-click on it, and see if it works.

If yes, create a shortcut.

Or take a look at Control Panel|SOUNDS and tic the "place volume icon in
the taskbar" item.
