Volume bitmap error

I recently changed my hard disk from 8 to 30 GB. I used Drive Image to image
all my stuff from the old disk to the new one. Now if I run chkdsk, I
encounter the 'free space marked as allocated in the volume bitmap' error.
This error cannot be fixed even if I 'chkdsk /f'. Can someone help me
please?

Thanks a million in advance

Ahhh... the pain of NTFS. Actually, I found the solution. Since I have
Partition Magic, I switched from NTFS to FAT32. Did a chkdsk and defrag and
found no problem. I know the problem will be gone if I return to NTFS since
the metadata etc will be recreated. But it's running fine now and is fast. I
am now certain if I want to return to NTFS again. Any advice?

Thanks,
