vnc problems

what is the deal with vnc when you min a window or folder etc on host,
you don't see it do anything? but then you move the mouse and it is like
you are using paint and then it's like yer using the mouse to erase the
screen so you can see stuff? opening things and stuff like menues in
apps does the same thing. why and how do you fix it?
 
screen refresh is useless as i have to do it once every few seconds. anytime
i open , minimize etc. can't use remote desktop, it's host is using win 2k
pro. never heard of dameware, what is it?

Actually this is local lan, will nto buy any software. dameware i found,
but cost money so screw that.
 
If you're not willing to spend any money to get a solution that will work
for you, then you'll be stuck with the solution you've got.

Not everything in life is free, nor should it be.
